December 8th

It is December 8th today. I mean obviously. Anyway, today is the 31st year since John Lennon was shot four times outside of his apartment. One this day, people were disappointed. At first no one could believe he was dead. Mark David Chapman, a Hawaiian man saw Lennon outside, and asked him to sign his copy of Catcher in the Rye Chapman was a lot like the main character in the book Holden Cawfeild. Although I don't think Holden would of killed someone like that. Chapman was an outcast in life. What gets me is why he would want to kill John Lennon? The reason why he did was, he wanted to stick to all the "Phonies". Lennon was not the first person to come to mind that he wanted to shoot. Lennon was just more exposed to the world. He didn't have anyone guarding him. Lennon lived a open life. Today is a day that Yoko has to go through, knowing some wack job killed her love of her life. His son Sean has to go through life wondering what life would of been like if his father never would of gotten shot. This day only reminds them even more.... This day is also my Birthday. I love you John Lennon. May peace be with you, and your music will live on forever delivering your messages of peace love and freedom.
